  1. The “old” Dante actually shows up as a playable bonus party character in Shin Megami Tensei Nocturne on the PS2. Getting his is tricky and the quest he goes on is pretty damned difficult from what I recall. It was funny seeing him in the game because I recall some fans not believing he was actually in the game until they saw it in person or online. Of course, for some of these folks, that style of game wasn’t their cup of tea at all, but I recall at least one guy I know who’d never played a JRPG previously (but was a HUGE fan of the character) biting the bullet as it were and buying the game…

    • Dante is still one of my favourite gaming characters. Still hoping that the original incarnation can make another resurgence back into popular gaming culture. Its been too long Ebony and Ivory!
